THREE BLUES GIANTS
ONE STAGE
When 3 Masters of the Blues; Bobby Blackmon, Mac Arnold and Terry Hanck, hit the stage there will be over 150 years of blues experience gracing the stage.
There is a reason that Bobby Blackmon and the B3 band fill the squares in The Villages and packs the house for all of his solo gigs. He has graced the stage with such luminaries as BB King and Buddy Guy. Beautiful Bobby Blackmon is an ace, a gem, a rarity, and an overall guitar wizard.
Mac Arnold’s first band in high school included non-other than James Brown on piano, WHAT! In 1966 he joined the Muddy Waters band that shaped what was to come in electric blues, WHAT! He has played with, Eric Clapton, Mike Bloomfield, Paul Butterfield, Elmore James, Howlin’ Wolf, Junior Wells, Big Momma Thornton and the list goes on .... WHAT! He then moved to California and worked on the set of Soul Train as well as working with Bill Withers on “Lean on me” WHAT!
Terry Hanck is truly a “Master” of the saxophone. Elvin Bishop, of all people, had to ask him 3 times to join his band! That resulted in him working on the hit song “Fooled Around and Fell in Love”. He is a multiple Blues Music Award winner. Having won in 2012 and 2016 for best instrumentalist, horn. He also has won the International Songwriting competition for “I Keep Holding On”
This is a "YOU DON'T WANT TO MISS" show that will sell out quickly.
