Attending the Blues Foundation's Blues Music Awards is a once a year opportunity to see the best performers the genre has to offer gather to celebrate the music we all love.  Performances at the awards ceremony are uniformly outstanding.  Even of a tribute to the music, this year, was an hours long jam featuring a who's who of the hottest vocalists and musicians you could ever want to hear.  It doesn't get any better than this.

We are your typical "snowbirds" and we attend every event we can in the fall, but more so from January to mid-May.

I commend the hard work you do to keep the Villages Blues Society the best club in the whole of TV.  Keep up the good (hard) work.  Bravo to you!

BMA Event - this event is held annually in Memphis, Tennessee. The blues musicians are nominated in different categories of acheivements in the genre of blues music. It's an exciting event where professional musicians perform and jam with other musicians plus they get the opportunity to meet the fans of blues music who also attend this event. I attended last year with Mark & Marcia Adams of the Villages Blues Society and I had a great time meeting some blues musicians that I had never met before and other musicians that I have known a long time. I jammed with musicians like Johnny Rawls, Kingfish and others. Please support the Villages Blues Society to "keep the blues alive!".  Thank you.

OK, I got to tell you this.  I left the hotel about two hours south of Nashville on Monday morning.  I come out of the elevator, and there’s a guy in the orange village is blue society T-shirt…

I go to Albert Castiglia yesterday at Space in Evanston and I run into a guy with a black villages tees, blue society T-shirt. Pretty cool. The support for blues with TVBS is all around the U. S.

My experience with The Villages Blues Society has been fantastic.  So many great artists in such intimate settings.  There is nowhere else you can connect with musicians at this level.  In addition to the bi-weekly shows, the club offers driveway parties and blues music field trips which creates a sense of camaraderie.  This group definitely deserves the distinction of being the largest blues society in the world!
