Frank Bang served as Buddy Guy’s second guitarist for five years and is often called one of the 3 best blues guitarists ever.   Playing with luminaries like Magic Slim has nurtured this band to a point where the blues just seem to pour out of them effortlessly. Their blues music is new and invigorated while paying homage to the blues of the past. Frank delivers poignant runs on his guitar and his voice has the rough edges that are well suited to this music.  Backing him the Cook County Kings provide a sturdy as steel backbone for this band’s vision of the blues.
