OUR MISSION The primary purpose of the Society is to preserve, promote and nurture the blues in Central Florida. The Society will increase awareness of and appreciation for the blues through educational efforts, such as "BLUES IN THE SCHOOLS" https://blues.org/blues-in-the-schools/ Ultimately, the Society will also sponsor A YEARLY COMPETITION for solo/duo & band acts to enter the Blues Challenge of the Blues Foundation. https://blues.org/international-blues-challenge/ Lastly, the Society wishes to accumulate sufficient charitable funds to benefit blues musicians through organizations such as THE HART FUND |
